"I prefer hard honesty over a beautiful fairy tale"

Who I am

Hi, I'm Stella FreeSoul – yes, a free soul in every sense of the word. I question everything and follow my intuition… it doesn't always work out, but that's how I learn.

I question things because life isn't perfect – and when someone paints too rosy a picture, questions naturally arise in me. I prefer hard honesty over a beautiful fairy tale.

I create content about teeth and plastic surgery in Turkey because this country has become incredibly popular in the world of "transformations". But I noticed that social media is heavily controlled by people who don't want you to know the whole truth – uncomfortable posts disappear and critical voices are silenced.

Why this blog

You won't find hidden clinic advertising or blind hate here. I want to show what reality looks like – with the good and the difficult sides – so you can make a truly informed decision: whether to go to Turkey at all, where, to whom and on what terms.

You'll find specific guidance here: what questions to ask so you can immediately see whether you'll be a patient they truly care about, or just another number in the system. I'll also show you how to write to a clinic when problems arise – step by step, no nonsense, no fear.

My experience

I decided to have my implants replaced in Turkey myself, even though I originally had them done in Scotland, and also had eyelid surgery. I won't hide it – price mattered, but this time I was mostly guided by intuition, having researched many surgeons beforehand: their qualifications, achievements and years of practice.

This process is still ahead of me – and I'll write about it honestly here too, step by step, from the perspective of a "real" patient, not a promotional brochure.

Honesty

I write it as it is, not as the clinic would like you to think. The good and the bad.

Specifics

Questions, checklists, red flags. Tools, not generalities.

🤝

Patient perspective

I'm not a doctor. I'm a patient who has been through this herself.

What I'm planning

In the future I want to work only with those clinics and surgeons who respect patients and prioritise transparency. I can analyse patient histories, complication data and complaints procedures, then show on the blog the places that are truly worth considering.

🤝 Transparency promise

If paid collaborations or clinic advertising ever appear here, they will be clearly labelled – and will only involve those who first pass through my filter of questions and patient stories, and only then through any business offer.

Transparency above all – towards patients and towards clinics.
